The principle responsibility of Neeraj’s role is to lead and shape Johnson Matthey’s global EHS strategy with the goal of driving improvement and embedding a culture of safety, health and wellbeing working practices. He has responsibility for engaging at all levels of the organisation and promoting cutting edge thinking around the EHS agenda. He works closely with global business leaders to establish best in class EHS management systems, EHS governance frameworks and ways of working in order to promote a culture of leadership, ownership and employee engagement.
Neeraj has over 20 years EHS experience for high risk activities within global companies in food and beverage, utilities, construction, manufacturing, chemicals and mining sectors. He has delivered change programmes in EHS leadership, sustainable development, behavioural safety, process safety and product stewardship in complex organisations resulting in improved EHS performance and culture. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and has an Executive MBA from London Business School.
